In April 2024, the University of Bristol hosted the inaugural CASP-ICE workshop. This three-day meeting provided an opportunity for all project partners to come together, present and discuss on the state-of-the-art across the research field, define standardized protocols for snow/glacier algal bloom monitoring, and explore funding streams and potential sites for a future global bloom monitoring network.
