Accommodation
Most participants are staying at the Ibis Bristol Centre hotel (Explore Lane, Bristol, BS1 5TY) from Monday 15th April to Friday 19th April (4 nights). Rooms have been pre-paid for for those people originally funded on the grant application. For everyone else, rooms have been reserved in your names but payment of £93 per night including breakfast will be required for each room individually upon check-in.
Workshop venue
The workshop is being held in the Verdon-Smith International Seminar Room, which is located on the First Floor of Royal Fort House, University of Bristol. You should allow 20-25 minutes to walk (mainly uphill!) from the hotel. Members of Chris’s MicroLab group will be on hand to meet and greet at the venue.

Monday 15th April
Arrival day. There will be an informal drinks reception on Monday evening for those who have arrived into Bristol. This will be held from 17:00 to 19:00 in the Staff Common Room in the School of Geographical Sciences, University of Bristol, BS8 1SS. You should allow 15-20 minutes to walk (mainly uphill!) from the hotel.
Tuesday 16th April
The workshop will commence at 09:00. Tea and coffee will be available all day. A buffet lunch will be available at 13:00.
A table is booked for dinner at 19:00 at The Clifton Sausage. We can only pay for those people originally funded on the grant application but everyone else is welcome to come along.
